The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a thorough understanding of accounting principles. Must have Forex experience. Completed SAIPA Articles program is an added advantage but not a must.Salary: Market related.Minim Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field7+ years' experience as a Financial AccountantMust have Forex experienceCompleted SAIPA Articles program - ideal and an advantage but not a mustAssisting with Treasury functionsStrong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC 365, Sage Accounting, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, examine, and analyse financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards IFRS and regulatory requirements.Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.Reconcile accounts, monitor general ledger entries, and resolve discrepancies.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting processes.Assisting with Treasury functions, foreign exposures to mimimise forex risk.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Ensure timely submission of tax filings and regulatory reports.Please apply onlineFROGG Recruitment
