Maintenance Foreman - Sugar Production Company

• Planning and executing maintenance tasks and projects to ensure the efficient operation of the sugar production facility.
• Managing the maintenance team and providing guidance and support to team members.
• Conducting regular inspections, diagnosing equipment issues, and implementing necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Working closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and minimize breakdowns.
• Managing inventory and ordering spare parts and equipment as needed.
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities and preparing reports as required.
• Training and mentoring maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
• Proven experience working as a Maintenance Foreman in a sugar production or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of sugar production equipment and processes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Computer literate with proficiency in maintenance management software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.
