- Analyze markets and provide strategic directions on how to develop new business in the field of Renewable Energy
- Analyze market sectors and prospect clients to identify best business opportunities
- Orchaster and represent internal activities in the field of Renewable Energy
- Collaboration within global teams
- Define and implement the strategic plan to approach & capture client’s needs
- Refining local Renewable Energy strategy
- Lead consulting projects, by managing internal/external project team
- Report periodically to CEO on project roll out
- Transfer consulting knowledge and skills to internal staff
- Initiate and complete proposals and presentation for new business opportunities
- Grow a team of BD / internal experts

- The Candidate can either work from Johannesburg or Cape Town
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 3+ years of experience in the Renewable Energy sector
- Proven track record of developing new businesses
- Ideally, ECSA certificate
- Experience in project managing change projects
- A passion for developing business and a drive to succeed
- Attain an excellent customer satisfaction rating
- Meet established market growth targets
- Proven expertise in the planning, execution, and leadership of new business strategies
- Proven strategy consulting skills
- Excellent leadership skills and presentational ability; motivating colleagues & inspiring potential clients
- Strong knowledge of core sectors
- Strong understanding of existing and emergent social technologies
- Excellent communication skills at CxO-LE level
- Excellent capability to influence both peers and indirect reporting lines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong in client connection and client services
- Strong communication in English
- Creative talents and the ability to solve tough, open, and ill-defined problems
- In-depth knowledge of the TIC industry and its reference industries, and its current trends & drivers
