- Identify potential clients in target markets through research and networking.
- Develop a robust sales pipeline to achieve set targets.
- Cold call, schedule appointments, and meet with prospective clients to introduce the company’s services.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer queries during the onboarding process.
- Understand client needs to provide customized logistics solutions.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate pricing and service terms to secure contracts aligned with company objectives.
- Market Analysis:
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Provide feedback to management on market conditions and customer preferences.
- Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Matric Certificate;
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the logistics or transport sector.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Persuasive negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel as required
