
Product Manager

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (Essential)
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification (Advantageous)
- 5–10 years’ total experience, with at least 2–3 years as a Sales Manager and subsequent experience in Product Management
- Exposure to Sub-Saharan African markets is highly advantageous
- Develop and execute product strategies tailored for Sub-Saharan markets
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and regional opportunities
- Formulate and present business cases to senior stakeholders for product investment decisions
- Define and implement pricing and positioning strategies to optimise market competitiveness
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation to market launch and ongoing improvements
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D) to align strategies and deliver results
- Provide insights and reporting on product performance, profitability, and growth opportunities
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce, or similar) would be advantageous
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans
- Commercial acumen with excellent understanding of pricing and market dynamics
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior leadership
- Collaborative and cross-functional team player with strong influencing ability
- Adaptable, innovative, and results-oriented, thriving in dynamic, multi-market environments
