Job Summary Company and Job Description:We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day installation activities for solar infrastructure projects. You’ll be working on commercial rooftops, carports, and ground-mounted solar systems—making sure that construction runs smoothly, safely, and to spec.

  • Supervise on-site teams during installation of solar mounting systems (rooftop, ground mount, carports, trackers).
  • Interpret and implement construction and engineering drawings.
  • Allocate daily tasks to crews and monitor workmanship, pace, and safety.
  • Ensure correct placement, alignment, and fixing of structural components.
  • Conduct daily safety checks and enforce PPE use and health & safety procedures.
  • Communicate progress, issues, and material needs to the Site Manager.
  • Assist with site reporting, documentation, and handover procedures.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • 3+ years’ experience supervising construction or solar installation teams
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of site health & safety best practices
  • Excellent team coordination and communication skills
  • Matric plus a technical qualification or trade certificate (advantageous)
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Working at Heights, Fall Protection, or First Aid certifications are a plus
