- Conduct SHEQ risk assessments.
- Develop and implement SHEQ controls (incl. policies, procedures, inspections etc.).
- Monitor SHEQ workplace compliance.
- Conduct SHEQ incident investigations, root cause analysis and facilitation of learning.
- Maintain SHEQ management systems (e.g. ISO 45001, PSM) including certifications.
- SHEQ performance monitoring and reporting.
- Co-ordinating and facilitating SHEQ training according to plan.
- Monitor compliance to SHEQ legal requirements (including permits and legislation).
- Effective SHEQ controls developed and implemented.
- Matric / Grade 12.
- 3 year Diploma (safety, environmental, engineering or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 – 5 years’ experience.
- Demonstrated Risk Management Knowledge and Skills.
- Facilitation and training skills.
- Data management and interpretation
- Presentation and report writing.
- Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
- SHEQ Systems – Implementation and evaluation.
- SHEQ Legal Framework.
- Auditing and Inspection skills.
