- Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings for Weapons and their components.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
- Create 2D and 3D CAD models and technical schematics using CAD software.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation, including assembly instructions, parts lists, and technical specifications.
- Ensure that all designs meet the company’s quality standards and are produced within project timelines.
- Perform design analysis, including tolerance checks, stress analysis, and material selection.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations to support project development.
- A Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience required.
- Proficiency in related applications/computer programmes.
- Understanding and proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA (Essential)
- Understanding and proficiency with simulation software (MSC One, Ansys) (Preferred)
- Sound knowledge of Design and Implementation thereof.
- R20 000 – R30 000 per month dependant on qualification and experience.
