The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while ensuring robust contract compliance and alignment with operational and commercial objectives. - Creating and achieving a desired future state (vision) through influence on organizational values, strategy, individual and group goals and processes.
- Communicate the vision and values showing commitment.
- Translate the vision into measurable goals.
- Delegation of authority and responsibility.
- Allocating decision-making authority and task responsibilities to appropriate subordinates; utilizing subordinates' time, skills, and potential effectively
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging risks relevant to the mining sector.
- Conduct risk assessments for new projects, expansions, and strategic initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

- Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or business law or equivalent experience required.
- 5-10 years of experience in risk management and contract administration, preferably within the mining, metals, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Requires field experience, familiarity with systems and the ability to develop effort-hour estimates.
- Ability to develop Contracting Plans and perform independent contract management on small- to medium-sized projects.
