
Assistant Manager – Credit Risk

- Review credit limit and transaction applications, providing risk-based opinions.
- Validate internal credit rating applications and ensure accuracy.
- Administer the Drawdown Centre process and procedures.
- Ensure all processes comply with internal policies and manuals.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies; monitor risks such as counterparty concentration, credit limit expiries, and covenant adherence.
- Conduct ongoing post-lending monitoring, identifying risk changes and triggers, and offering recommendations based on findings.
- Monitor past dues, non-performing assets, and manage loan write-offs.
- Collaborate with Front Office to resolve policy breaches.
- Maintain monitoring tools for credit limits and ratings, ensuring timely renewals.
- Ensure annual post-lending reports are completed and track excess exposures.
- Facilitate roll-overs and ensure Front Office Departments adhere to interest period requirements.
- Manage meeting scheduling and documentation for Credit Committees and Deal Forums.
- Draft meeting minutes and maintain records.
- BCom in Finance, Economics, or related field (Essential)
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance (Desirable)
- 2-5 years in Banking/Financial Services (Essential)
- 2-5 years in Credit/Business Analysis (Essential)
- 2-5 years in Risk Management (Desirable)
- Essential: Experience in analysing financial statements, credit applications, and compiling credit assessment reports.
- Essential: Broad understanding of banking functions and operations.
- Desirable: Knowledge of banking regulations.
- Essential: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Essential: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
