Saatchi & Saatchi has a rich history of building brands across Africa.Job DescriptionResponsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conceptualise creative, brand appropriate concepts to meet the strategic goals in accordance with the client's brief
Write copy for a variety of platforms including (but no limited to) print, radio, TVC, digital, long form content, etc
Communicate and present ideas - pitch these ideas and concepts to both internal and external stakeholders in a professional and impactful manner with the ability to accept constructive feedback
Work closely with the creative team
Mentor / guide junior copywriters
Oversee the brand TOV of multiple clients across a number of client categories
Constantly develop and refine their craft and that of the junior team
Keep abreast of current trends and popular culture in accordance with industry best practice

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Copywriting / Advertising
At least 6 Years' experience working as a Copywriter with 1 year being in a Senior role within an Advertising Agency
Digital experience is essential
Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word / PowerPoint etc.)
Knowledge of and experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications
A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
Strong presentation skills
Strong multi-tasking skills (ability to work on more than one brief)
An eye-catching portfolio that demonstrates a strong range of Copy from ATL to Digital
