- Conceptualise creative, brand appropriate concepts to meet the strategic goals in accordance with the client's brief
- Write copy for a variety of platforms including (but no limited to) print, radio, TVC, digital, long form content, etc
- Communicate and present ideas - pitch these ideas and concepts to both internal and external stakeholders in a professional and impactful manner with the ability to accept constructive feedback
- Work closely with the creative team
- Mentor / guide junior copywriters
- Oversee the brand TOV of multiple clients across a number of client categories
- Constantly develop and refine their craft and that of the junior team
- Keep abreast of current trends and popular culture in accordance with industry best practice
- Tertiary qualification in Copywriting / Advertising
- At least 6 Years' experience working as a Copywriter with 1 year being in a Senior role within an Advertising Agency
- Digital experience is essential
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word / PowerPoint etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications
- A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills (ability to work on more than one brief)
- An eye-catching portfolio that demonstrates a strong range of Copy from ATL to Digital
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work well in a highly pressurized, fast-paced environment
