- Create and develop 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design and optimise mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Perform design calculations and simulations to validate concepts.
- Support prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
- Prepare technical documentation and bill of materials (BOM).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design processes and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven working experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Experience with design analysis, FEA, and simulation tools will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of engineering principles, tolerances, and GD&T.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Creative thinker with innovative design skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
