A reputable aviation institution is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with strong expertise in regulatory compliance and quality management within the aviation industry to join their team in Lanseria, Gauteng. This role is critical to maintaining the highest safety and operational standards across the organization.Responsibilities:Ensure all manuals are properly established, implemented, maintained, and compliant with regulatory requirements.Review and update policies and procedures detailed in manuals regularly.Develop and execute a 12-month internal audit schedule.Conduct internal audits and present compliance evidence.Represent the company during external audits and implement corrective actions timely.Maintain and control internal documentation such as control documents, ERP, SOPs.Manage internal non-conformities, monitor reports, and apply corrective/preventative measures.Record and store audit findings and corrective actions systematically.Act as the primary liaison between the company and SACAA, Licence Council, and Department of Transport for AOC applications and renewals.Manage all regulatory applications and amendments related to compliance, AOC additions, airworthiness, and operations.Deliver induction training to new employees and conduct Quality Assurance review meetings.Develop an annual training syllabus for personnel.Analyze relevant quality data and communicate findings and recommendations within the company.Compile monthly quality assurance reports and set quarterly continuous improvement goals.Requirements:Minimum Grade 12 qualification.Completion of QA/QC courses at a SACAA-approved facility.At least 5 years experience in a similar role or environment.Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and AOC compliance.Excellent attention to detail.Proficient in English (written and verbal).Ability to interact professionally with SACAA and other external stakeholders at a high level.Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.High levels of dedication, commitment, trustworthiness, and confidentiality.Benefits
