Tertiary Qualification:

Bachelor of Pharmacy;
Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council.

Computer Literacy Level:Highly proficient in Excel/PowerPoint for data management and reportingJob-related Requirements:Minimum of 2 years’ experience in either Warehousing, Distribution or Production in the Pharmacy sector.ADDED ADVANTAGES FOR THIS ROLEElectives:

Ability to interpret pharmacy legislation;
Prepare and implement necessary policies, procedures and codes of practice;
Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach and continuously develop pharmaceutical quality, and other related obligations; and
An understanding of pharmaceutical production, whether large- or small-scale; and
An understanding of quality assurance and audit processes in relation to the pharmaceutical industry and associated quality management systems.

JOB SPECIFICATIONMain purpose of the role:The successful incumbent will be obligated to ensure adherence to statutory requirements as outlined in the Pharmacy Act 53/1974, Medicines and Related Substances Control Act 101/1965 and all associated regulations.
