the needs of the district health system and the IDP.
Key Responsibility AreasPromotes and implements the principles of drug supply management.
Undertakes stock checks in clinics and update minimum and maximum levels.
Ensures the correct and safe storage of drugs, pharmaceuticals and equipment.
Liaises with the relevant stake holders within the multidisciplinary team.
Performs supervisory duties pertaining to drug supplies.
Takes responsibility for the control and safe keeping of all stocks within the
pharmacy.
Takes responsibility for implementing drug information systems throughout the
eThekwini Unicity.
Ensures and maintain a high standard of professional practice.
To undertake operational research, audits and surveys at the clinics

Essential RequirementsGrade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant certificate (NQF Level 4).
Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) in terms of
Act 53 of 1974.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
2 Years relevant experience.
Computer Literacy.
Preferred RequirementsDiploma (NQF Level 6) in Pharmaceutical studies.
