Johannesburg - Gauteng - South AfricaWe are seeking an experienced and commercially astute New Business Development Manager to lead sales growth and market expansion for a range of power transmission products, including OEM products and related solutions. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will focus on developing new OEM and project business, building strong customer relationships, and positioning the products as the preferred choice in demanding industrial applications.Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 10+ years sales or business development experience in mechanical/ equipment markets.
- Strong technical knowledge of motors, and variable speed drives.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel nationally.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of local and international industrial markets.
- Exposure to OEM and project-based sales environments.
- Pre-sales product selection and after-sales support expertise.
- Competence in preparing sales forecasts, call plans, and performance reports.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset.
