The Communications Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing and Communications Department by executing strategies, managing social media platforms, coordinating content creation, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels. This role is essential in enhancing Bidvest Protea Coin’s brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and internal communications.Social Media Management
- Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.).
- Monitor social media channels for engagement, respond to comments and messages, and escalate queries where necessary.
- Track and report on social media performance metrics and provide insights for optimization.
- Stay updated on social media trends and recommend innovative approaches to increase reach and engagement.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials including brochures, newsletters, presentations, and internal communications.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to produce high-quality content.
- Maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, events, and company milestones.

- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing or social media role.
- Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts and digital campaigns.
- Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
