Engineering Manager with GCC and FMCG

Job Summary Industry Experience Required:

FMCG manufacturing and/or sugar milling
High-volume production environments with complex engineering systems
Utilities management, including boilers, refrigeration, water treatment, and electrical reticulation

Key Requirements:

GCC Factories (non-negotiable)
BTech or BEng Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
South African only
3 to 6+ years’ engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Proven track record in leading and executing large-scale brownfield and greenfield projects
Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance systems
Exceptional leadership, budgeting, and project management skills

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the engineering function, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with statutory requirements
Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, safety standards, and equipment reliability
Manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and project timelines
Plan, budget, and execute plant upgrades, expansions, and maintenance shutdowns
Ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness of utilities and infrastructure
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability
