Reporting to the Director of Music, this position involves the teaching of Grade 8 – 9 classes and academic and co-curricular marimbas. This is a key role in promoting the school's music-for-all philosophy, laying the foundation for both senior academic and co-curricular musical involvement.The successful candidate should: - Have suitable academic and professional qualifications;
- be registered with SACE;
- have experience teaching Senior School Music (IEB experience preferred);
- have Co-curricular and Extracurricular experience in coaching marimba and pop bands including instrumental or vocal teaching;
- uphold the Christian ethos and values of the school;
- be enthusiastic about a broad range of musical styles;
- have a warm, nurturing, and positive disposition;
- possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team;
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
