The junior commercial manager will support the Head of Strategic Partnerships in managing relationships with key partners, vendors and suppliers to ensure Swift's strategic objectives are met through these relationships. The role requires close collaboration across various teams within Swift as well as frequent interactions with external stakeholders.Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies for maximizing value from existing partnerships while identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation;
- Support negotiations between Swift and its partners/vendors/suppliers by preparing analysis, presentations and other materials needed during discussions;
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements when engaging with third parties;
- Manage day-to-day operations of selected partnerships including contract administration, relationship management, financial matters, etc.;
- Provide regular updates on progress towards goals set for each partnered project or initiative;
- Identify areas where processes could be improved upon based on lessons learned from previous engagements;
- Conduct market research to identify potential new partnership opportunities that align with Swift’s strategic direction;
- Coordinate activities related to due diligence investigations required before entering into any agreement with a new partner.Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or similar field preferred;
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a corporate environment preferably within a multinational organization;
- Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) and ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization;
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects while also being a team player who can collaborate effectively across departments;
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities along with attention to detail;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
