The incumbent will responsible for various IT duties, e.g. helpdesk administration, asset administration, installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and other technologies, such as communication systems. Configuring hardware and software, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users and any other general duties as required by the IT Manager.To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should also be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques and be able to work in unsupervised results orientated environment.Required minimum education/Training:
Grade 12 and Diploma in the Relevant IT field Like Microsoft Certification
Basic software development training (Visual Studio, .Net, C#) would be advantageous.Required minimum work experience:
1-year relevant experience
Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer
Proven administrative skillsSkills
Easy to work with, organized, self-motivated and time-conscious.
Able to work unsupervised environment.
Strong active listening skills.
Critical and analytical.
Able to communicate effectively with other team members.
Result oriented and committed to his work.
Have a thorough understanding of computer systems.
Understand what is involved in the administration and maintenance of network connectivity.

Support and maintenance
Support users with standard Office applications
Support users with inhouse developed applications
Support users with basic SysPro utilisationTroubleshooting and repairs to local and networked computer software, hardware and peripherals
