Electrical Engineer: Reticulation

- Design and layout of LV/MV electrical reticulation systems (urban, rural, and industrial)
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Conduct site inspections and technical assessments
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and utility stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical regulations and safety standards
- Liaise with municipalities and utility service providers for approvals
- Prepare cost estimates and tender documentation, and manage contractors on-site
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc / BEng)
- Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng registration (or working toward registration)
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in electrical reticulation design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ReticMaster, or similar design tools
- Strong knowledge of SANS, NRS, and municipal standards
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with Eskom, municipalities, or Developers
