Qualifications:
  • Matric/Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ management experience;
  • Knowledge of the food, beverage and banqueting environment;
  • Club Experience advantageous;
  • Good computer skills (MS OFFICE) and other presentation packages;
  • Knowledge of Jonas Club Management Software;
  • Must be able to work flexible hours when necessary and able to multitask under pressure;
  • Drivers licence with own transport.
Personal skills and attributes:
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal and group communication skills;
  • Hands on, individual contributor and collaborative team player;
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure professional presentation of function rooms;
  • Ensure that functions proceed satisfactorily - efficient service, professionalism and speed;
  • Ensure highest level of service - excellence in all operating procedures, approaches and service level requirements;
  • Ensure good general housekeeping of the function rooms;
  • Ensure the effective management of the team.
