At HEPI, we provide our customers with a superior alternative to many of the traditional OEM channels by responsively delivering innovative solutions that award the customer with the lowest total cost of ownership.Job Opportunity:We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and passionate Account Manager for a full-time position based in South Africa (or any other Southern African country). This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing our crusher wear and spare parts business into a well-established customer base throughout Africa whilst also seeking to add new customers throughout the region through our proven an effective account management process.This role offers to opportunity to directly participate in the establishment of a new business unit. It is a predominantly South African or Southern African region-based role and will require a significant amount of travel to various mine customers and mine sites.To be considered for this role you must:
  • Preferably have either a mechanical trades background or a related engineering degree with at least 3-5 years in a sales and/or account management role (ex-field service type role will also be considered)
  • Proven ability to prepare sales budgets and monitor sales performance.
  • Highly developed sales and relationship management skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Strong technical background or a working knowledge of crushing and screening applications.
  • A well-developed network within the mining and quarrying industry in Africa.
  • Experience and knowledge of the mining mineral processing and quarrying industries.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft products, knowledge of Pronto ERP software and Salesforce will be highly regarded.
  • Must be a self-starter who has a positive attitude, ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities, prepare, and write thorough sales reports and follow up on quotes and tenders, with tenacity and enthusiasm.
