We’re seeking a technically skilled and operationally savvy individual to step into the role of Assistant Manager – Spares and Services. This position supports the Manager of Spares and Services in overseeing the refurbishment, repair, and enhancement of critical equipment components. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on engineering experience, strong administrative capabilities, and a deep understanding of steel manufacturing.? Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support to the Manager – Spares and Services
Coordinate and control:
Equipment refurbishments
Vibrator motor repairs and enhancements
Geared exciter repairs
Motor drive assemblies
Manage logistics: synchronize collections and deliveries with freight contractors
Expedite production of active manufactured spare components
Offer technical support to internal sales teams
Draft technical reports and client communications with precision and clarity

? Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualified artisan (Boiler Maker / Fitter)
Has transitioned from workshop to office-based responsibilities
Brings a blend of hands-on experience and administrative competence
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
