- Source and purchase technical equipment, materials, and services according to project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to evaluate technical requirements.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and secure favourable terms.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, data sheets, and documentation.
- Conduct cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
- Track orders, manage delivery timelines, and resolve supply issues.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and vendors.
- Work independently and within a team and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Adhere to ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity and transparency.
- National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical procurement or a similar role.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to read technical drawings/specifications.
- Solid organisational and analytical abilities
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good time management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Drivers License.
