- National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical procurement or a similar role.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications.
- Solid organisational and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of SAP (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Source and purchase technical equipment, materials, and services in line with project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to evaluate technical requirements.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and secure favourable terms.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, data sheets, and documentation.
- Conduct cost analyses to ensure value for money.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
- Track orders, manage delivery timelines, and resolve supply chain issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
- Work independently and within a team, prioritising tasks effectively.
- Uphold ethical standards and promote integrity and transparency in procurement practices.
