General Secretarial duties Liaising with suppliers and service providers Assisting with customer queries Following up of status of shipments Managing local purchases such as stationary Screening incoming calls and visitors Assisting customers who visit the premises, aiding with taking payments from them Some basic bookkeeping including handling petty cash and yoco payments Create and update records and databases with purchasing, shipping and other data. Effectively store and/or digitally file such data. Communicating and feeding information to teammates facilitating the smooth operation of day to day business, driving sustainable growth. Assisting with the implementation of our new IT system
Requirements Professional: Proven experience as an office administrator, secretary, or relevant role Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Good organizational skills Familiarity with office management procedures. Competent knowledge of MS Office. (Including Excel able to perform basic calculations, cell formatting etc.) A solid mathematical ability Qualifications in secretarial studies or related fields will be an advantage but not a necessity - will consider experience in lieu of this. Experience with Sage Pastel, Xero similar package would also count in the candidates favour, but can be taught. 4-8 years experience in a similar role
