Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring effective inventory management of all chemicals\consumable stock
  • Timeous processing of MRO Pos as well as related returns thereof
  • Monitoring Consumable stock levels, and coordinating replenishment orders to maintain optimal inventory.
  • Ensuring timeous deliveries while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring adherence to all governance standards
  • Coordinate departmental monthly\weekly stock counts and ensure adherence to stock count procedures.
  • Guide, motivate and support the team to achieve goals.
  • Overseeing the efficient flow of consumables\Chemicals within the facility
  • Overseeing the process of receiving\despatching, ensuring quality and condition against purchase orders while also reporting discrepancies or damages to relevant parties.
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
  • Logistics diploma or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • Relative warehouse experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS office/Excel and SAP.
  • Understanding of standard operating procedures within Dry Goods environment.
  • Be able to work independently
  • Experience in stock management.
  • Adapt well under pressure
  • Results driven
