Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM EST
Salary Range: $1,500 – $2,500 per month

We are dedicated to leveraging technology and innovation to streamline financial processes and help our clients achieve their financial goals.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Associate Accountant to join our remote finance team. This client-facing role combines hands-on bookkeeping with financial analysis and team support. The ideal candidate will support the Canadian team and collaborate closely with fractional CFOs and bookkeepers without direct people management responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an ‘Senior Associate’, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and understanding their unique financial needs. Meet with clients periodically to discuss financials and ensure the client expectations are met.
  • Bookkeeping: Manage a team that handles day to day bookkeeping for clients. Provide full bookkeeping services and support to clients using accounting software package (QuickBooks).
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financials and dashboards for clients using tools such as Power BI.
  • Audit/review Support: Prepare working papers for auditors and liaison with them to ensure that the review/audit progresses effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows and best practices within the accounting department.
  • Leadership: Help develop the skills of more junior staff members by acting as mentor and providing training.
  • Professional Development: Demonstrate the desire, enthusiasm and commitment to advance his/her professional career with the Firm through education, training and skills development.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • CPA Certification, or equivalent, with minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Proven experience in public accounting or similar role
  • 5 years + Proficiency in QuickBooks, Dext, Excel, Word and Power BI
  • Strong bookkeeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Dedication to maintaining client confidentiality and trust.
