- A Marketing degree/ diploma or related studies
- 1-3 years experience in Marketing and/ or public relations and event management in a corporate environment.
- Plan, co-ordinate and execute the promotional plan for the Business Unit
- Organise events and coordinate logistics
- Assist with the development of company marketing material including the area newsletters.
- Support in the coordination of national external marketing campaigns
- Conducting market research and keeping up-to-date with the latest entrepreneurship trends and competitors in Business Unit, and preparing reports on this
- Report on marketing activity progress
- Closeout reports on all events
- Marketing administrative duties such as supplier liaison, payment processing and database maintenance
- Assist with the development and management of the marketing budget.
- Identify and propose marketing opportunities that may be relevant to increasing deal flow for the Business Unit
- Stay up-to-date on marketing trends and best practices
