Digital Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager in the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital marketing initiatives. The role involves managing and updating corporate and e-commerce websites, coordinating email and social media campaigns, and ensuring a consistent online brand presence.ÂWhat you'll do:
  • Provides support in the planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent website, email, and social media
presence. * Support the Marketing Manager with the marketing plan.
  • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across website, email, social media.
  • Maintain and update the company corporate and e-comm websites using CMS tools.
  • Conduct keyword research and assist with SEO optimization efforts.
  • Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms.
  • Support email marketing campaigns, including list management, content creation, and performance tracking.
  • Monitor and report on digital campaign performance using tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics and
others. * Collaborate with suppliers, and internal stakeholders, to develop engaging marketing materials for various marketing channels.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and suggest new strategies to improve performance.
Your Expertise:
  • 1–3 years expected
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Adobe Magento, WordPress).
  • Good understanding of SEO, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Qualifications:
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Skills and Competencies:
  • Knowledge of email marketing tools (Mailchimp, or Campaign Monitor)
  • Experience with digital analytics tools like (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Strong graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Video editing skills would be a bonus.
  • Previous work experience in a digital marketing role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
