Our client, a leading player in the logistics services industry, is looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join their team on a 3-month contract, with a strong potential to transition into a permanent role. As the Senior Financial Manager, you’ll report directly to executive leadership and play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health and strategy of the business. You’ll be hands-on, analytical, and commercially minded, someone who thrives on turning numbers into actionable insights and can confidently navigate the complexities of the logistics sector.

- Lead and manage the full financial function, including month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with operations teams to drive financial efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
- Manage working capital and oversee cash flow planning
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant CA (SA)
- Minimum 5 years post-article experience
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Strong understanding of financial systems and ERP platforms
