- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry event participation.
- Conduct client meetings to understand their recruitment needs, company culture, and specific job requirements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and finalize service agreements with clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client companies, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Communicate regularly with clients on candidate progress, market trends, and recruitment strategies.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions to staffing challenges.
- Conduct client satisfaction surveys and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with clients on long-term hiring plans and provide strategic recruitment advice.
- Source and attract high-quality candidates through the TRC CRM database, job boards, social media (especially LinkedIn), networking, and referrals.
- Screen and evaluate resumes, applications, and qualifications to assess suitability.
- Conduct thorough candidate interviews (in-person and virtual) to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage the candidate interview process, including scheduling, providing feedback, and preparing candidates for client meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, offering career advice and guidance.
- Keep candidates informed throughout the recruitment process and provide timely updates.
- Match the most qualified candidates to client job openings, ensuring a strong fit for both parties.
- Prepare and present candidate shortlists to clients with detailed qualification and experience information.
- Coordinate the offer process, including negotiating salaries and benefits.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant legislation and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the TRC CRM system.
- Provide post-placement follow-up with clients and candidates to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Utilize and maintain the TRC CRM database for candidate sourcing, client interaction tracking, and efficient process management.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CRM system.
- Assist Recruiters with financial services placements.
- Provide weekly status reports on all recruiting activities to management and consultants.
- Update and post current job openings to the TRC website and job boards.
- May assist with sector research, proposal development, and consultant recruitment.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to recruitment.
- Work closely with other consultants and internal staff to ensure a cohesive and collaborative recruitment process.
- Share best practices and market insights with team members.
- Meet and exceed monthly candidate placement targets.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets as defined by management.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve business development targets.
- Track and report on sales activities and progress.
- Contribute to the overall sales growth of The Recruitment Council.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Competent in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Proven experience using social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, for professional networking and recruitment.
- Experience utilizing various Recruitment Portals for candidate sourcing and management.
- Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as a 360 Recruitment Consultant with a track record of success.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and placement.
- Excellent sales, business development, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet targets.
