Job Summary You will be the key link between our live proprietary hotspot platform, with customers, and with the engineering team. Your work will directly impact performance, user experience, and revenue by testing hypotheses, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing the structured evidence needed to innovate.Key Responsibilities:
  • Be a Digital Detective: Test and validate hotspot functionality using RADIUS and Mikrotik systems. Investigate Wi-Fi performance across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, analysing factors like BSS colouring, channel utilisation, and interference.
  • Drive Data-Led Decisions: Develop and test hypotheses using diverse datasets on revenue, user behaviour, traffic, and RF statistics to guide platform improvements.
  • Solve Real-World Problems: Collaborate directly with customer service to identify and troubleshoot issues reported by users, conducting field tests in live environments.
  • Be the Voice of Clarity: Document bugs, system flows, and test results with precision, providing structured feedback to engineering teams to fuel development.
  • Own Your Impact: Take ownership of problems from identification to resolution, making a tangible difference to our product and users.

  • A Problem-Solver's Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a knack for troubleshooting and a drive to find the root cause.
  • Technical Aptitude: An understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly Wi-Fi protocols and hotspot operation. (Hands-on knowledge of Mikrotik or RADIUS is a big plus!).
  • A Data-Driven Approach: Comfortable working with metrics, KPIs, and business data to identify trends and improvement areas.
  • Excellent Communication: Ability to write clear, concise documentation and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Nice-to-Haves (Advantageous):
  • Understanding of voucher APIs, SQL databases, or Cisco systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols like airtime fairness and interference detection.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Wi-Fi networks, hotspot systems, or a related telecoms environment.
  • A relevant diploma or degree (though strong technical aptitude and a proven track record are highly valued).
