- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels of the customer’s organization.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, concerns, and engagements.
- Business Development:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
- Manage and grow accounts by continuously understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring that prospects are qualified and moved through the sales process.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Implement sales strategies and campaigns that align with the company’s revenue goals.
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and gross profit targets consistently.
- Conduct regular account reviews to ensure growth in key accounts and maintain alignment with customer business needs.
- Solution Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, pre-sales, and services, to develop customized solutions that address client needs.
- Ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with the company's service offerings and capabilities.
- Market and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay informed on industry trends, market changes, and technological advancements to maintain credibility and offer relevant solutions to customers.
- Understand the competitive landscape and adjust strategies to stay ahead of competitors.
- Reporting and Administration:
- Regularly update CRM systems with customer data, sales activities, and pipeline status.
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts and business reports for management review.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and communication with clients and internal teams to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead account planning and strategy sessions for key customers.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure that all customer engagements are executed successfully.
- Provide leadership in customer meetings and negotiations to ensure the best possible outcomes for both the client and the company.
- Matric.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field will be advantageous.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager.
- Hands-on experience in sales and an ability to deliver.
- excellent customer experience.
- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
- 10 – 15 years of senior management experience in an industry sector or environment that has technological complexity and is customer care/customer experience intensive. Significant understanding of customer need.
