Our client in the ICT industry is currently looking for a Senior Account Manager, in Midrand, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, concerns, and engagements.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
  • Manage and grow accounts by continuously understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring that prospects are qualified and moved through the sales process.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Implement sales strategies and campaigns that align with the company’s revenue goals.
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue and gross profit targets consistently.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to ensure growth in key accounts and maintain alignment with customer business needs.
  • Solution Development:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, pre-sales, and services, to develop customized solutions that address client needs.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with the company's service offerings and capabilities.
  • Market and Industry Knowledge:
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market changes, and technological advancements to maintain credibility and offer relevant solutions to customers.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and adjust strategies to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Reporting and Administration:
  • Regularly update CRM systems with customer data, sales activities, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts and business reports for management review.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and communication with clients and internal teams to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead account planning and strategy sessions for key customers.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure that all customer engagements are executed successfully.
  • Provide leadership in customer meetings and negotiations to ensure the best possible outcomes for both the client and the company.
Requirements:
  • Matric.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field will be advantageous.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager.
  • Hands-on experience in sales and an ability to deliver.
  • excellent customer experience.
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
  • 10 – 15 years of senior management experience in an industry sector or environment that has technological complexity and is customer care/customer experience intensive. Significant understanding of customer need.
  • Satisfaction in high tech. environment essential.
Remuneration:
  • R804 922 – R1 207 384 per annum.
