Operations Supervisor - Cold Storage

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking and dispatching goods
• Monitor cold storage temperatures and ensure compliance with cold chain requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts
• Enforce health and safety standards, PPE compliance, and hygiene protocols
• Coordinate workflow and delegate tasks to warehouse assistants and general workers
• Ensure efficient use of resources and minimize operational downtime
• Liaise with transport/logistics teams to coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries
• Report operational issues or equipment failures to management promptly
• Assist in training and development of new team members

• Grade 12
• Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within a cold storage facility or environment
• Strong understanding of cold chain compliance and health and safety standards
• Good communication and team management skills
• Computer literacy
• Able to work weekends and overtime
• Physical fit and able to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
• Forklift license (advantageous but not essential)
• Own reliable vehicle
