As a Verifications Officer, you will play a critical role in assessing loan applications to ensure compliance with lending policies and risk management guidelines. You will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of applicant information, assessing creditworthiness, and making informed decisions on loan approvals or rejections. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the loan origination process.Key Responsibilities:

Perform Credit affordability assessments.
Ensure that all documentation required has been provided by the client.
Liaise with and guide sales team on risk and compliance.
Perform credit checks on all credit applications.
Provide management feedback or alert management on new risk/fraud trends.
Any required tasks as per management instructions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Matric/Grade 12
