Senior Data Quality Analyst - Global Markets - Johannesburg - up to R550 per hourPOSITION INFO:One of Africa’s largest diversified financial services groups, offering an integrated set of products and services across retail, business, corporate, investment, and wealth is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior Data Quality Analyst with deep knowledge of financial markets and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in Investment Banking or Capital Markets, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing data quality initiatives.Responsibilities

Data Quality Processes: Design, document, and implement procedures ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Metrics & Monitoring: Define data quality KPIs and maintain dashboards with alerting mechanisms.
Workflow Integration: Embed data quality checkpoints into existing business/trading processes.
Governance & Compliance: Enforce data lineage, attestation, and regulatory frameworks (FMA, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, CFTC).
Regulatory Research: Track and interpret evolving regulations across South Africa, Africa, and globally.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with trading desks, risk management, data IT teams, and producers.
Remediation & Resolution: Lead and support initiatives to fix data anomalies.
Dashboarding & Alerts: Build technical dashboards for ongoing data quality oversight.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Information Management.
5+ years in Investment Banking/Capital Markets IT & data roles.
5–10 years in business and data analysis within Global Markets environment.
Domain Knowledge: Proficient across Equity, Fixed Income, Credit, FX, Commodities, Interest Rates, Collateral.
Regulatory Reporting: Hands-on experience with FMA, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, CFTC standards.

Data Governance Frameworks: Quality dashboards, lineage models, attestation processes (≥3 years)
Platforms & Tools: Front Arena, AWS/cloud-based data tools (≥2 years)
