Receiving Clerk – Milnerton

- The goal is to ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them appropriately.
- Verify packages according to order and invoices (quanity, quality, price etc)
- Contact supplier if a mistake is identified
- Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated designation
- Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
- Matric Certificate
- Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position within a retail environment
- You will need to have a clear criminal record, good work ethics, the ability to work well in a busy and pressured environment
- Experience in operating forklifts
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- A stable work record, and have contactable references
- Please note you will be required to work Retail Hours: Monday to Thursday 07h30 – 17h00 and Fridays until 16h30
- A willingness to represent the Company in a responsible manner, promoting and maintaining a professional image at all times
