As the Developments Manager, you will oversee and streamline the operations within the Developments department, ensuring optimal efficiency and strategic growth. Your key responsibilities will involve leading a high-performing team, managing client expectations, and driving financial success while meeting departmental targets. You will play a pivotal role in cultivating new business opportunities, overseeing the market research process, and maintaining strong internal systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Developments department, ensuring effective operations, productivity, and growth.
- Drive business expansion by generating leads, gathering market intelligence, and identifying new opportunities.
- Possess a deep understanding of diverse business processes and strategies to inform decision-making.
- Execute and analyze market research, promptly identifying issues and escalating concerns to Directors as needed.
- Manage all HR-related functions within the department, ensuring effective employee utilization, adherence to internal processes, and streamlined system management.
- Onboard and train new staff on internal systems and company procedures to maintain consistent, high-quality work.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, manage expectations, and contribute to financial growth by meeting set targets.
- Leadership & People Management: Strong organizational and team management abilities to lead and inspire a dynamic team.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, clients, and senior leadership.
- Proactivity & Accountability: Self-driven, motivated, and able to operate independently while ensuring team accountability.
- Financial & Project Management: Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and project milestones.
- Negotiation & Influence: Strong negotiation skills to drive favorable outcomes and influence key decisions.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Technical Competency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, internal systems, and conveyancing software, with the ability to support the team when necessary.
- Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a Development Manager role or similar capacity.
