A leading global organisation in the industrial automation and energy sector is seeking a strategic and driven Channel Manager to spearhead its partner and distribution network in West Sub-Saharan Africa. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in control systems and digital software, and a strong understanding of the channel partner ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a channel sales strategy aligned to business growth and market penetration goalsIdentify, evaluate, and onboard qualified channel partnersEstablish clear business plans and KPIs with each partner and ensure accountabilityMonitor channel performance to meet revenue, margin, and market share targetsParticipate in strategic sales engagements, including high-level negotiations and deal structuringCollaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on go-to-market activitiesFacilitate product training, promotional campaigns, and partner enablement initiativesDrive partner engagement in digital software and automation solutionsProvide regular reporting, insights, and performance analytics to senior managementBuild and sustain long-term partner and customer relationships across the regionMinimum RequirementsDegree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5–10 years’ experience in channel management within process automation, control systems, or industrial softwareStrong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex partner networksSolid understanding of digital transformation trends in industrial sectorsStrong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and analytical skillsMust be proficient in MS Office tools and CRM platformsValid driver’s license and willingness to travel
