Manager: Investment Accounting

• Oversee the accounting and reporting function for investment assets across multiple licensed insurance entities.
• Manage, guide, and develop a small team of accountants, ensuring skill transfer and growth.
• Ensure accurate, efficient, and timely capturing and reporting of investment transactions.
• Review and prepare investment instructions, ensuring compliance with policies and mandates.
• Take accountability for the review and allocation of investment returns across portfolios.
• Prepare and/or review monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements, risk management, and adherence to internal controls.

• Degree in Financial Management or Accounting.
• Completed Articles / Traineeship.
• Professional qualification (CA / CFA / ACCA / CIMA) advantageous.
• 7 – 10 years’ experience in accounting and/or investments.
• 3 – 5 years’ management experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ insurance industry experience.
