- Invoicing: Accurately prepare, process, and issue invoices to clients, ensuring they align with agreements and are submitted on time.
- Record Keeping: Maintain an organized and up-to-date system of all invoicing records, including reconciliations and payment schedules.
- Data Entry: Input invoicing data into our accounting system with precision, ensuring all entries are accurate and error-free.
- Follow-Ups: Handle follow-up communications regarding overdue invoices and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
- Collaborate: Work closely with other departments (sales, finance, and operations) to ensure smooth processing of all invoicing-related tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure every invoice is checked for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to catch even the smallest errors and ensure all invoicing information is accurate.
- Experience: Previous experience as an Invoicing Clerk or in a similar role is essential.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Transport Industry Knowledge (Preferred but not Required): Experience or understanding of the transport industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Computer Literate: Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and other office programs.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to handle client interactions effectively.
