We’re currently working with a leading institution in the higher education sector that is seeking a skilled Finance Accountant to join their finance team in Sandton. This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong IFRS and tax knowledge, and a passion for financial excellence.📢 Finance Accountant – Higher Education Sector
Area: Sandton, Johannesburg North
Salary: R 420 000.00 / R 500 000.00 per annumKey Responsibilities:

Process monthly journals and prepare management accounts with variance analysis
Compile operational finance reports and cash flow projections
Monitor working capital and liaise with External Auditors
Handle VAT, PAYE, and statutory submissions
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and budget preparation
Manage SARS profiles and attend branch appointments, if needed
Compile and reconcile related party schedules and transactions

Requirements:

NDip or BCom in Accounting Science / Financial Management
Minimum 1 year post-articles experience
Advanced Excel skills and exposure to SARS queries advantageous
