This organisation funds and delivers impactful programmes and they need the right financial expertise to ensure every rand makes a difference. As the Foundation Accountant based in Johannesburg North, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate reporting that supports the foundation’s mission. This is more than just managing numbers - it’s about enabling life-changing projects to flourish.Duties Include (Not Limited To):

Manage the full accounting function for the foundation, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
Prepare financial statements, donor reports, and compliance documentation.
Monitor budgets and track project expenditure, to ensure responsible fund management.
Liaise with Auditors, stakeholders, and Project Managers to maintain transparency and accountability

Education:

BCom Degree in a related field

Experience:

8–10 years’ experience required within a similar role
NPO or Foundation experience beneficial
