A leading recruitment firm is seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer (Heavy Current) to join a dynamic engineering team in a growing, project-driven environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of electrical control systems and panels, supporting both internal production and external client requirements.Minimum Qualifications:BTech or BSc in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) also consideredExperience & Technical Skills:1–2 years' experience using EPLAN and AutoCAD ElectricalKnowledge of EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) systemsElectrical panel building experience (1 year advantageous)Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft ExcelBasic project management skills (advantageous)Key Responsibilities:Design motor control centres (MCCs)Generate parts lists, IO lists, cable schedules, and quality control documentationLiaise with the panel building team and workshop manager to ensure design accuracyCommunicate with suppliers and internal stakeholdersUpdate and re-issue designs in accordance with workshop or site modificationsIdeal Candidate Attributes:Detail-oriented and organisedEffective communicator across technical teamsAble to adapt to changing project demandsIf you have not been contacted within 10 workdays, please consider your application unsuccessful
