The Senior Key Account Executive will form part of the Alternative Distribution team. This pivotal role is perfect for a seasoned professional passionate about driving growth through strategic partnerships and fostering long-term client loyalty in the employee benefits industry.The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and expanding key client and intermediary relationships within non-traditional distribution channels. A core focus will be on strengthening strategic alliances and developing tailored assurance solutions, particularly within the mining, metal, and local government sectors.Key Responsibilities Include:Managing a portfolio of strategic key accounts and intermediaries.Developing and implementing customized solutions and comprehensive relationship management plans.Collaborating cross-functionally within the organization to configure complex product and service offerings.Negotiating agreements that align with both client needs and the organization's profitability objectives.Cultivating new business opportunities and enhancing the organization's market presence.Ensuring operational compliance and driving continuous process improvement.Desired Qualifications and Experience:A Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Management, or an equivalent field is required. A postgraduate degree is considered advantageous.At least 6 years experience, 3 years specifically in strategic resource planning and management.Essential experience in the insurance sector is crucial, coupled with established networks within the mining, metal industries, and local government.A strong understanding of client assurance plans for workers is necessary.Demonstrated exceptional skills in relationship management, collaboration, business insight, and strategic thinking.Proven ability to manage complexity, communicate effectively, and build robust professional networks.This role suits a proactive, results-oriented and commercial professional with a proven track record in forging impactful relationships and driving strategic growth.
