Our client is a leading engineering consultancy specializing in roads and infrastructure projects.We are currently seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client and contribute to the design and implementation of roads and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical engineering solutions for roads and infrastructure projects
- Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure project requirements are met
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and provide technical guidance
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with other disciplines, such as civil and electrical engineers, to ensure integrated design solutions
- Stay current with industry trends and developments to ensure best practices are implemented in projectsJob Requirements:Qualifications:

BSc/BTech Civil Engineering (ECSA Registration preferable)

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years roads geometric design related experience (Civil Designer or Civil 3D).
Experience in Rural and Urban roads designs.
Experience in Pavement and/or hydrology design will be an added advantage.
Experience in preparing tender documentation and contract administration related to roads projects
