- Accounting or Business Degree
- Knowledge of general accounting (IFRS7) and business practices
- Minimum 5 years experience at management level managing the company's financial department and the company's activities on the financial software.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 and Excel
- Managing financial department
- Preparing and posting monthly manual journals
- Control fixed assets – Depreciation, additions and disposals
- Monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Annual budget and new outlook as required
- VAT and PAYE reconciliations and returns
- Manage annual stock take
- Annual insurance renewal
- Manage stock levels
- Provisional tax payments bi-annually
- Balancing all sub ledgers to general ledger – stock, accounts payable, accounts receivable etc.
- Prepare and present monthly trade reports
- Monitor banking and make payments as required (including reviewing and paying monthly trade creditors)
- Preparing audit file and assisting Auditors during annual audit
- NCR returns
- Long term debtor’s applications
